Plasticiet
6DCTG-0001
Plasticiet is a building material that comes straight out of Rotterdam with the hard looks of natural stone but made from discarded plastics.
The sheets have an oversize margin of a couple of centimeters and come with rough edge straight from the mould. Note that they need to be cut clean before working. Plasticiet can easily be: cut (using woodworking saw blades), milled, drilled, threaded, countersunk, sanded (using orbital random sanders), chamfered, waterjet cut or screwed. The rock-like material is applicable in furniture making, interior design, displays and purely decoratively. This way, the material contributes to the longevity of plastic before it ends up in waste burning facilities.
