Pivot Origami was made possible thanks to an innovative manufacturing process, generating special folding patterns which have been predefined in the greycloth using the Jacquard technique. It’s three-dimensional appearance was inspired by the Japanese art of origami and produced by combining solid individual fabric segments, creating a play of light and shade. It is a matte material, with closed structure and coarse texture that invites designers to innovate, as it can be used for projects in which a folding process might be needed, such as in the case of wearables. This material weighs 574g/sqm and is available in widths of 140 cm, 180 cm and 300 cm.
