Recycled PET Sustainable Sequins
HHV7L-0001
Sequins produced by The Sustainable Sequin Company use
100% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and are GRS
(Global Recycle Standard) certified.
These sequins offer a more sustainable alternative to
conventional sequins that are made from virgin plastics, often
including PVC, which poses a threat to human health and the
environment throughout it’s lifecycle.
Benefits of using recycled plastic include: preservation of
non-renewable fossil fuels, specifically oil; reduced energy
requirements during manufacture and therefore reduced
emissions; conservation of landfill space and/or reduction of
toxic pollutants from incineration.
