Limestone

LFHCM-1001

Is a sedimentary rock, composed mainly of skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral, forams and molluscs. Its major materials are the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate . It is used in clinker production as main raw material (around 80%) beside others ( clay and correctives) It is also used in composite cement production as inert mineral component. Using of cement with limestone in bring several special features to the concrete ( eg: high homogeneity , high early strength, very good workability )
