Light weight concrete

LFHCM-2001

The light weight concrete produced in the concrete plants contains light weight aggregates, homogenously distributed in its mass. There are several types of light weight aggregates, which can be selected for different applications based on their bulk density: • Light weight concrete D1,2 class - has a weight of 1.000-1.200 kg/m3 and can use light aggregates or expanded polystyrene granules • Light weight concrete D1,6 class - has a weight of 1.400-1.600 kg/m3 • Light mortar for screeds – helps in producing light screeds (class CTC5) having 500-800kg/m3. Strength class: L8/9 The light weight concretes are used for thermal insulation, sound insulation or reduction of structure dead loads. Its placement is fast and simple. Applications: roofing, partitions, renovations and remodeling works.
