Solvent free, two component polyurethane coating to reinforce gravels.Elastopave is a two-component polyurethane binder for pavement applications. When it’s combined with local aggregates, it creates a strong, durable composite that can be used for parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, patios and other walking surfaces. It’s easy to work with and install using conventional construction equipment. It’s also easy to repair and prevents tree roots from cracking the pavement. Elastopave is quick and simple to install, easy to maintain and can be subjected to weight again after only twelve hours. In urban areas, it is the ideal surface for wheelchair users and those who have trouble walking as the material can be laid completely smoothly. The binder works by being mixed with gravel or stones; the high proportion of large and small stone pieces creates many connected cavities. The advantage of the binder it that the ground is not sealed and can breathe; the porous covering surface is water permeable.
