Innofil 3D - ABS Fusion+

BASF-0100

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is a light weight oil based thermoplastic material used in many applications, due to its versatility and large operating window. The addition of Styrene Maleic Anhydride (SMA), with high heat resistance and stability, resulted in an optimized ABS grade for 3D-printing: “ABS Fusion+ made with Polyscope XILOY™ 3D.”

It has high impact and UV resistance, high glass transition temperature, post processing capabilities. It is not that popular in the 3D-printing industry because it generates an odour during printing and shrinks when cooled. Nevertheless, for a large group of users, ABS is the only way to go due to its properties. It is an ideal material for professional purposes like prototyping, test fitting, electrical equipment, toys, interlocked parts, automotive parts, kitchen appliances etc.
