Travertine is a form of limestone sedimentary rock, formed by the precipitation of carbonate minerals from solution in ground and surface waters, and geothermally heated hot-springs. The reason behind the remarkable aspect of these tiles is the method in which the stone is cut. In this case, the cutting is done along the veins of the tile, which creates a punctual look on the edge and a linear one on the surface. It is a material suited for entrances in sumptuous and imposing spaces.
