Slate is a dense, fine-grained, foliated, metamorphic rock produced by the compression of various sediments, such as clay or shale, mainly composed of clay, volcanic ash and minerals like quartz and muscovite or illite.
Nero slate with a riven, nonskid finish is known as one of the toughest slates in the world, suitable for places with high traffic and humidity. The well defined dark color of these product can highlight any surface, conveying elegance and sobriety. Indoor applications: wall cladding and floor coverings for bathrooms, kitchens, showers or hallways, etc.
